It’s the first of December already! This month is a first for my family and myself for a lot of things. First, I’ve adapted the flylady cleaning system as a way to keep my home out of C.H.A.O.S. (can’t have anyone over syndrome).
Second, I’ve started a christmas club at my bank for next years gift giving experience. Third, my next paycheck, I’ll put back for an e-fund or emergency savings. As of yet, we have none. If something bad were to happen, we would be (and sometimes are) up the creek without a paddle sort of speak.
Fourth, I’m really motivated to finish working through the book: Hedgewitch by Silver Ravenwolf. I’ve spent a year and a half on it so far and i feel like i am stalled, so completion will be a reward in its self. I’ve also started Silver Ravenwolf’s Great Release Program. “Get ready for this year’s Magickal Release Program — 30 days of helpful tips, guidelines, and creative ways to get rid of the junk, clutter, negativity and unhappiness in your life!” So says Silver Ravenwolf. My goal for the end of the 30 days is to have a calmer, more peaceful me. I am a firm believer in the old saying that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Or if you want changes in your family (or others), you first have to change yourself. You cannot alter anyones free will, change has to be wanted from within.
And the last big change is I’ve started participating in the Pagan Health and Fitness Challenge. I could always use help in that area. They have a great article called Balanced Health Using the Elements. It was about how there are five aspects to pagan health which are all based on the five elements. I’m hoping that these changes will enrich my life and the lives of my family. I am determined to set us on a right path for happiness and self-improvement. Id welcome anyone trying one or more of these adventures in your routine.
